Voles

Voles

Voles thrive on small plants, but can live on almost any nut or fruit.
Voles look a lot like mice, but without ears and with a shorter tail. These little rodents like to eat stalks of grass. Ultimately, the grass will die, leaving an unsightly trail in its place. Voles also like to eat bark from trees and shrubs which will cause a girdle effect and possibly kill the plant. Voles are also known as “meadow mice”. They are attracted to any place that has grass. These animals are not directly dangerous. The damage they inflict on trees may cause them to fall, which can be dangerous and costly. Our pest control experts can provide proven solutions that keep voles out of your yard for you.

Voles are attracted to areas with ample vegetation for food and cover.
